Christon C. Skinner (Member) born Nampa, Idaho, September 28, 1954; admitted to bar, 1979, Washington, U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington; 1983, U.S. Supreme Court. Education: Pacific Lutheran University (B.A., Economics and Political Science, 1976); Willamette University College of Law (J.D., 1979). Christon Skinner is the founding member of Skinner & Saar, P.S., having opened the firm in 1996 as a sole proprietorship. Mr. Skinner was previously a partner in the law office of Zylstra, Beeksma, Waller & Skinner of Oak Harbor, Washington, a firm that he joined in 1979. Chris and law partner Doug Saar expanded their practice when they acquired John Linde's law office in Friday Harbor in January of 2008. Mr. Linde is now the Superior Court judge for San Juan County. Chris has been actively engaged in the practice of law in Oak Harbor for 30 years.
