Jim McCloskey served for 25 years in the Law Department of Norfolk Southern Corporation and its predecessor Norfolk and Western Railway Company. In 1995, he left the Law Department to assume system responsibility for grade crossing and trespasser matters. In March 2000, Mr. McCloskey left NS and established the firm to assist railroads in the investigation and evaluation of personal injury and property damage claims; assist the client to identify and retain local counsel; assist trial counsel in preparation for litigation.
