| Additional Bio Details | Marshall Slayton was born in Detroit, Michigan. He attended the University of Virginia, earning a B.A. with high distinction in 1988, and a J.D. in 1994. Mr. Slayton was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1994, and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Virginia and U.S. Bankruptcy Court in 1995. He is a member of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association, and the Virginia State Bar (Bankruptcy Section). He has held positions on the Charlottesville Planning Commission from 1997 to 2001, and the Charlottesville Board of Zoning Appeals from 1997 to 2001.
Mr. Slayton has expertise in bankruptcy law. He completed Max Gardner’s Bankruptcy Bootcamp and is practiced in protecting the interests of consumers and debtors within the current bankruptcy laws. He also practices civil and criminal law, including traffic violations and personal injury law. |
