Biography
Laura Kalish grew up in Michigan and came to Texas to finish her education. She practices primarily in the areas of Adoption, Family-based Immigration, Contracts, and Probate. A particular area of interest for her is international adoption. Over the past 17 years, Laura and her firm have assisted international adoption clients to file initial paperwork with U.S. Immigration service, obtain Texas court orders and birth certificates, file for re-adoption in Texas State Courts, and obtain U.S. citizenship for adopted children. Laura writes and speaks on the subject of adoption and family-based immigration. At the Kalish Law Office, it is our goal to help each of our clients feel welcome in our office, understand the legal process, and accomplish their goals with a minimum of stress and disruption.
