they changed lawyers on me 3 times. all without notification. Then I had to bring each lawyer up to speed on the case. They all complained about their work load. Your just a number. They could care less about your case. Terminated them and they've taken over 60 days to sent me a refund and all indications are that it will take 90. Case could have been settled long ago. Don't make the mistake.

They were expensive, took to many years to settle, had a lousy mediator and didn't have the same lawyer continuously. disappointed in the settlement and being talked out of going to court.

I hired an attorney at B and G, the attorney was fired Friday before my Tuesday court hearing, of course I had to "rehire and reschedule" an attorney and the hearing. The attorney was fired for not charging enough to clients. B and G got their money after all. There were THREE attorney's fired from B and G while handling my case, I was never reimbursed for the wasted time and money.
DON'T FOLLOW MY FOOTSTEPS HIRE ANOTHER FIRM!!!!

After a favorable social study they still took 6 months to go to court while I paid $1100 unnecessary support. The whole change in visitation/support was agreed and they took 2 years to get it done. Daily phone calls would go unreturned for 2-3 weeks at a time. I would never recommend them or my specific lawyer, Julie Johnson, again.

The Associate Attorney Julie Johnson knows the law however her responsiveness is extremely slow. Additionally, we had problems with communication, scheduling of appointments and accuracy of billing information. When meetings were scheduled Julie was often times late and/or stepped out to join other calls for cases she was handling. The biggest complaint I have is with the accuracy of billing which included charges that were not associated with our case in the amount of $1600.00.

I was very pleased with my attorney at the beginning, but then the legal assistant became very hard to get hold of, provided me with incorrect information regarding my court location and then my attorney seemed to be working for my soon to be ex instead of me.

Determining a Rating

The Reviewers

Those who complete Client Reviews are clients of law firms who hired a lawyer within the last year, whose matter is not pending, and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be of any type from in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners to private individuals, and even sometimes another lawyer in a different jurisdiction.

Anonymity

Client Reviews are anonymous and reviewers' identities are not published; however a summary of basic demographics will be part of the display of responses.

Why do we collect demographics as part of the review?

Those who are researching a lawyer or law firm like to see that there are other clients who might be "like them". This is valuable information contributing to the decision-making process of hiring a lawyer.
