Our attorneys have represented clients in areas such as medical malpractice, construction litigation and product liability. Additionally, Dallas insurance practice group attorneys have wide experience in counseling insurance carriers on coverage matters, handling insurance-related litigation, and advising insurers on claims handling. The Dallas office offers wide-ranging legal know-how. While most of the work can generally be described as commercial and insurance litigation, the combined experience of our attorneys spans many areas. Clients of Wilson Elser's Dallas office include major domestic and international insurance companies. We defend claims involving nursing homes and other long-term care facilities; managed care institutions; and a wide variety of professionals, including doctors, attorneys, architects, engineers and accountants. In product liability, we defend clients in cases throughout Texas and the Southwest. Some of these cases involve death or serious injury. Among the products involved are pharmaceuticals and supplements, agricultural items, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, mopeds, marine outboard motors, personal watercraft and other motorized products. Dallas attorneys represent parties in environmental cases as well, including claims involving respiratory diseases stemming from exposure to asbestos and mold. Other cases involve a variety of chemical and environmental contaminants alleged to have caused personal injury or property damage. Within its insurance practice group, the Dallas office has nationwide experience defending claims against directors and officers of both public and private companies. We have been involved in some of the largest D&O cases in history. We consult with insurers in analyzing complex coverage issues under many kinds of insurance, such as errors and omissions, commercial general liability, commercial property, as well as homeowners and automobile policies.
