(Main Office)
| Storm LLP practices in the following areas of law:
Intellectual Property Law, Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Litigation, Prosecution, Licensing. | Firm Profile:
Over the years, our attorneys have established a record of service to clients ranging from the individual inventor to Fortune 500 corporations. Representation of some clients constitutes an ongoing relationship with day-to-day involvement in their intellectual property activities. In other instances, clients with intellectual property issues engage Storm LLP (often through a referral from the clients' regularly engaged law firm not specializing in intellectual property) for Storm LLP's capabilities in the areas of licensing, patent and trademark prosecution, and patent and trademark litigation. We are located in downtown Dallas, Texas and are located on the top floor of the Bank of America Plaza building. Our office location provides an efficient base for providing client services, with room for future growth. We believe that careful planning and efficient operations best serve the needs of our clients. Recognizing the importance of efficiency and organization during complex litigation, the firm has designed its future office space with these needs in mind, including devoting a significant portion of the office space to support staff offices with document storage and work rooms annexed. The attorneys at Storm LLP have extensive Federal Court practice across the country at both the district court and appellate court levels. These courts would include the federal district courts in California, Delaware, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, and Pennsylvania and Courts of Appeal for the Second, Third, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, Tenth, D.C. and Federal Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. Storm LLP currently has eight attorneys and all practice general intellectual property ("IP") law. In particular, Storm LLP has several attorneys primarily dedicated to prosecution and counseling in IP matters, while the remainder are more litigation-oriented. Storm LLP specializes in providing strategic planning and counseling for our clients. We approach our clients' intellectual property issues with their entire business in mind. Rather than just focusing on the issue of the day, our attorneys strive to become acquainted with and learn the fundamental aspects of our clients' entire business so that we can take the bigger picture into account when solving today's issue. With this approach we are able to assist our clients in not only resolving current problems and reaching short-term goals, but also in reaching long-term strategic goals to benefit their business as a whole. When counseling our clients on the best legal strategy, Storm LLP's attorneys take into consideration a wide variety of factors impacting all aspects of our clients' business, including growth plans, new product development, re-engineered or re-designed products to avoid infringement, competitors, industry analysis, financial condition, and how positions taken in one situation may impact the business in a later situation or impact another area of the business. Storm LLP's medium-size structure allows our attorneys to interact and brainstorm on a regular basis. Essentially every attorney of the firm sees and communicates with every other attorney at the firm every day. We are a closely knit group that enjoys a remarkably positive working environment. That environment provides our clients the benefit of having input from several attorneys, including those not immediately involved in their representation, so that fresh ideas are regularly generated. Our clients obtain this multiple-attorney benefit without the added costs that would typically be encountered at larger firms. At the same time, a core group of attorneys is assigned to each matter so that we maintain continuity of involvement and knowledge in order to maintain our view of the bigger picture. Storm LLP is large enough to successfully and efficiently manage the most complex intellectual property litigation challenge, in any forum in the United States, for Fortune 500 companies. At the same time, Storm LLP is small enough to provide individualized, cost-effective consultation to small business owners. Whether small or large, our clients benefit from our philosophy of strategic planning and the whole business perspective with which we approach their representation. | | Firm Size: 9 | Languages:
