Jason Cagle’s practice is focused on the resolution of complex litigation and arbitration proceedings involving disputes over commercial construction projects and real-estate acquisitions. He has worked to help clients solve their problems arising from projects and properties all over the country.
For Jason, complex disputes are attractive because they give him the opportunity to work with clients to develop innovative strategies to accomplish their objectives. In the past, such strategies have included asserting counterclaims or third-party claims against opponents, insurance carriers, and other responsible parties, conducting targeted investigations to establish critical facts, preparing motions that are dispositive of the client’s claims and defenses, negotiating agreements to resolve disputes on terms advantageous to clients, and aiding the client to tell its story at trial to the fact finders.
Jason has extensive experience in the resolution of disputes involving investigation and analysis of large quantities of electronically stored information. He has assisted many clients to utilize their detailed records to support their claims, to reveal weaknesses in their opponents’ positions, and to achieve their goals whether in the courtroom or at the negotiating table. Jason’s undergraduate studies in computer science have helped him to develop efficient and effective methods to analyze and assemble electronic information to support his clients’ needs.
