(Main Office) In the summer of 2008, we decided to start a small law firm with a different approach to the practice. We had been practicing law together as associates and partners in a larger firm, Carrington Coleman, for about 38 years. Carrington Coleman is a wonderful firm and provided us with unmatched legal experience. Over the years, each of us had developed areas of expertise, a result of continuing education, study, and experience which complemented the other's. We knew each other quite well. At this stage of our careers, we decided that we could start our own firm, enjoy the independence of such a venture, budget carefully to keep the overhead expenses of the law office low, provide services of the same kind and quality as we have for the last 38 years, and adjust our standard billing rates so that they will be substantially lower than fees charged by our peers at large firms with similar skills and experience. We also expect to freely consider non-standard and creative fee arrangements for special matters of any kind. We intend to offer quality legal services reflecting and drawing on our experience -- for much more flexible and affordable fees. Statement of PracticeGeneral Practice, including Civil Business Litigation (Trials and Appeals), Arbitration and Mediation, Corporate Governance, Officers and Directors Insurance and Risk Assessment, Corporate Transactions and Contracts, and Corporate Bankruptcy Advice.
