For six years, Attorney Ed Fowlkes has hosted the popular local radio program Legally Speaking broadcast live, weekly over 32 states. Along with a panel of his fellow attorneys, each with authority in a variety of practice areas, Lawyer Fowlkes answers caller questions and discusses recent appellate court decisions from across the country. In addition to providing legal knowledge and information, the show also includes music played by the hosts and professional guest musicians. The program airs live from seven o'clock to ten o'clock p.m. every Saturday night on 1510 WLAC. Tune in!

Prior to becoming an attorney, Lawyer Fowlkes worked as a probation and parole officer for years, so he has unique knowledge and a variety of perspectives on the legal system. He was a law clerk in the 6th Circuit Court of Davidson County. He has nearly 30 years experience providing skilled criminal defense to clients in state misdemeanor and felony criminal cases. He also wrote The Book on DUI, published in 1999 (written for lawyers, containing motions and briefs) by the highly-reputable M. Lee Smith Publishers.

Lawyer Fowlkes is an active member of the community and an all-around active person. He is a Titans season ticket holder, enjoys the outdoors, enjoys riding motorcycles, and used to drive an 18-wheeler. He takes the time to get to know his clients personally and is in touch with his clients, making them feel comfortable.
