After clerking for a federal judge and practicing with large law firms in Memphis for 15 years, Thomas Francis Jackson, III, a native of Memphis, established in 1983 the law firm of T. Frank Jackson. This firm was among the pioneers in the trend toward smaller law firms then being created by attorneys with backgrounds and experience with large law firms that were often impersonal and expensive. Our small firm, consisting of Mr. Jackson, a sole practitioner and his staff of assistants and consultants, has greatly reduced overhead and advanced electronics, which permit increased efficiency and, therefore, reasonable fees and expenses.
