(Main Office) The oldest continually operating law firm in the Upper Cumberland dates from the one-man practice started in 1932 by W. Keith Crawford. Mr. Crawford partnered with H.S. Barnes in 1948 to form Crawford & Barnes. With the addition of John E. Acuff, the partnership became Crawford, Barnes & Acuff in 1971. The firm became Barnes & Acuff in 1978 following the death of Mr. Crawford. With the retirement of Mr. Barnes and the addition of W.I. Howell Acuff, the firm became Acuff & Acuff, P.C. The lawyers and their predecessors have provided quality representation in the Upper Cumberland since 1932. They have been recognized for their competence, adherence to high ethical standards, zealousness as advocates and public servants by their peers, the judiciary and their clients.
