Dale Jamieson has engaged in private law practice for thirty years. He is designated underwriting counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company and Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Company. He has periodically served as special judge in the General Sessions, Circuit and Probate Courts of Shelby County, Tennessee and is an active member of various professional associations.
Dale Jamieson has achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
Jamieson balances his commitment to his clients with an active involvement in community life. He currently serves as a Vice Chairman of the Collierville Chamber of Commerce and has served as a Chairman of the Board of Directors for 1999 and 2000. He is a founding Board Member of the Collierville Education Foundation and continues to serve as pro bono legal counsel. He also serves on the Citizen Advisory Board of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville. Mr. Jamieson was the 1999 recipient of the Sam Walton Business Leader Award and has served as the 2000 Community Chairman for the March of Dimes Mothers Walk Fund Raising Campaign.
The professional staff at the Jamieson Law Firm is lead by Stacey Cordell as Office Manager. The staff has unique expertise in representing such diverse clients as major financial institutions, title companies, builders and developers and most importantly, individuals who are selling or acquiring a home. Typical services include assisting in the preparation of sales contracts, title examinations and the procurement of title insurance, as well as working closely with lenders and realtors to insure a smooth and positive closing experience.

This philosophy and approach differs from a number of providers of closing services who are currently popularly known as "closing agents" or "title companies." There is not only a difference in philosophy but a distinct difference in the type and level of services provided.
Fiduciary level service entails providing the highest level of care and service to a client and includes the duty to act in the best interest of the client, to preserve his confidences, to act with extreme care and diligence at all times on his matters and to provide advice and counsel where required.
These are traditionally services provided in an attorney client relationship. In recent years the real estate industry has changed rapidly as to the level and type of representation provided to the general public.
