James Marr (Attorney) born Chattanooga, Tennessee; admitted to bar, 2008, Tennessee; U.S. District Court, Middle District of Georgia. James is a native of Ringgold, Georgia, where he worked for several years as a doffer and packer in a textile mill before enlisting in the Air Force. After his active duty tour in Anchorage, Alaska, James returned to the Chattanooga area, joined the Tennessee Air National Guard, and made quick use of his GI Bill at Chattanooga Technical Community College. After receiving his Associate of Science degree in Chattanooga, James moved to Knoxville, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science environmental degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. After graduating from UT, James worked for several years as an environmental specialist for Vulcan Materials Company, where his interest in the legal arena began to grow. Guided and inspired by teachers, co-workers, business associates, friends, and family members, he enrolled in law school at the University of Georgia, which seemed an almost impossible dream come true. Sara Khaki (Attorney) born Tehran, Iran; admitted to bar, 2008, Georgia; 2009, U.S. District Court, Georgia Middle District. Education: Georgia State University (B.A., summa cum laude, 2005); University of Georgia School of Law (J.D., 2008). Sara Khaki was born in Tehran, Iran. Her family migrated to Sweden in 1986, where she grew up in a small town named Vetlanda. Sara and her family moved to the United States when she was a teenager. Here, in the United States, Sara received her Bachelors' Degree and Law Degree. She graduated Law School in the spring of 2008 and she joined Dale Buchanan and Associates as an associate attorney in the fall of 2008. Sara's diverse multi-cultural upbringing helps her connect and relate to clients from all different backgrounds and walks of life. Dennis Pash (Attorney) born Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; admitted to bar, 2006, Tennessee. Education: University of Virginia (B.A., 2003); Washington & Lee University (J.D. cum laude, 2006). Dennis Pash focuses his practice almost entirely on helping Social Security Disability claimants. As of June 2009, Dennis has represented well over 1000 individuals at disability hearings before federal Administrative Law Judges, drafted over 200 briefs to Social Security's Appeals Council, and drafted over 55 briefs submitted to the U.S. District Courts in Tennessee and Georgia. Dennis joined the Knoxville office of Dale Buchanan and Associates in May 2006, following graduation from Washington and Lee, Dennis graduated cum laude and completed coursework in Administrative Law. As a law student, Dennis worked two summers, and part-time during the school year, as a law clerk for DBA. Dennis was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in November 2006.
