Mr. Matthews opened his law firm in 1996, after working four years as an assistant prosecutor for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office in York County, South Carolina. Since 1996, Mr. Matthews has practiced law in domestic law matters, including abuse and neglect accusations. He is also an accomplished criminal defense attorney. Licensed in South Carolina in 1998, attorney Jennifer McQueen Ash served eight years in the United States Marine Corps as a judge advocate. Since separating from the Marine Corps in July 2006, Ms. Ash returned to Rock Hill, where she has practiced in the following areas: family law, counsel for the DSS, and immigration. The Law Office of Michael G. Matthews represents clients throughout the Piedmont region of South Carolina.
