Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy is a Plaintiff Personal Injury Law Firm. Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy was established in 1972 as McArdle, Caroselli, Laffey & Beachler to represent injured individuals and their families throughout the Western Pennsylvania area. While initially known for its expertise in the then developing field of workers' compensation in Pennsylvania, the firm branched into complex third party occupational disease claims, filing some of the first third party claims for asbestos and silicosis lung disease claims in the country. The firm has developed to become a full service plaintiff personal injury litigation and appellate practice firm. The firm has an established reputation as one of the premiere plaintiff personal injury firms in Western Pennsylvania and is the only Western Pennsylvania based law firm to have eight attorneys named in "The Best Lawyers in America" publication. Major complex personal injury claims are frequently referred to the firm by other members of the Bar, both locally and nationally. The firm has frequently served as local counsel or co-counsel in joint ventures with other firms in Pittsburgh-based litigation in both state and federal courts. The founding partner, William Caroselli, is a past president of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. The founding partner, Ed Beachler, is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Other members of the firm had held leadership positions in the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (formerly Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association).
