A founding member of Schmidt, Kirifides, Pearson, Koutcher & Fridkin, Mark R. Schmidt has practiced Workers' Compensation exclusively for more than a decade. In 2003, Mark appeared before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to argue one of the most significant workmen's compensation cases the state has seen in recent years. He is also a sought-after lecturer and speaker who has presented for the Pennsylvania and Delaware County bar associations and several unions, among other institutions.

Vasil L. Kirifides is a founding member of Schmidt, Kirifides, Pearson, Koutcher & Fridkin. Since 1990, Vasil has been working to ensure that Workers' Compensation claimants receive all that they are owed under the law. In 2005, Vasil secured two of the largest workmen's compensation settlements reached in Pennsylvania during the last decade. Combined, the settlements totaled nearly $1.2 million.

Eric B. Pearson has been practicing law with Schmidt, Kirifides, Pearson, Koutcher & Fridkin for more than 10 years. The managing partner of the firm, Eric is an experienced Workers' Compensation and personal injury lawyer. He now focuses exclusively on Workers' Compensation matters.

Jonathan B. Koutcher joined Schmidt, Kirifides, Pearson, Koutcher & Fridkin more than a decade ago. A skilled trial lawyer who now focuses his practice on Workers' Compensation matters, Jonathan's past experience includes litigating a variety of personal injury cases, such as motor vehicle accidents and premises liability disputes. Before joining the firm, he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Samuel G. DeSimone, A.J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey.

Mark S. Fridkin has been handling serious personal injury cases on behalf of his clients for nearly 35 years. In 1992, he appeared before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to argue one of the most significant medical malpractice evidence ruling in Pennsylvania called Jones v. Chidester. The ruling is regularly cited by attorneys and courts across the state. Mark is passionate about representing people who have been wrongly injured. He has tried motor vehicle, medical malpractice and other personal injury cases and finds personal satisfaction in providing for victims and their families. Mark is especially passionate about representing the plight of injured babies and their families. He has handled many cases with multi-million dollar outcomes where children were born with trauma or serious birth injuries that could have otherwise been avoided if not for the medical mistakes made by doctors, hospitals, nurses and other healthcare providers.
