(Main Office)

Irving Solnik is tough, brilliant, fearless, at times fierce, indefatigable and arguably the best Toronto lawyer. He is well learned in all the aforesaid areas of law, is a superb litigator who is equally at home in court rooms and at negotiating tables. Moreover, he is an outstanding negotiator, always does whatever it takes, provides personal service and can be contacted evenings and weekends and 24/7 for emergencies. He practices law aggressively for his clients and practices law the way law should always be practiced.

Irving Solnik is a charismatic and experienced public speaker, orator and motivator, speaks frequently impromtu, has an encyclopedic knowledge of law and many other subjects, characteristics that serve him well in his successful law practice.

The most important case he was involved in was a divorce, custody and abduction of two boys, ages 3 & 5. Trials and related hearings took place in the USA and Canada for more than six years. Many millions of dollars were spent and the case ranks as one of the largest and horrific cases anywhere.

The Globe & Mail newspaper featured a front page story with headlines and blared "Millions Spent On Custody Row."

The children were illegally abducted by their mother notwithstanding that she lost custody in all the trials and appeals. She was able to do so because her father was estimated to be worth several hundred million dollars and he financed all her expenses.

Mr. Solnik was pitted against some of the most respected, brilliant and highly experienced and high priced powerful lawyers in North America. Notwithstanding the quality and numbers of my adversaries I won all the battles - namely in the Courts but lost after she kidnapped the boys again and disppeared with the boys awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court of Canada. (The Supreme Court refused to hear her appeal).

During the six plus years of litigation I learned more about courts, judges, juries, courtroom protocol, strategies and tactics, the law and litigation in general and family law in particular than most lawyers would learn in a lifetime of practice.

Details are available at: http://www.abductedchildren.blogspot.com.

All that I learned and the experience I gained now inure to the benefit of my clients in my law practice, regardless of the areas of law and especially all involved divorce, custody and abduction battles.

Mr. Solnik accepts legal aid cases when the causes are just and likewise provide free legal advice. I also take cases on a contingency basis.
