Abraham Gertner founded the firm in 1935 and retired after 55 years of practice. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science at Yale University in 1934 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio State University Law School in 1935. He was a Cowles fellow while at Yale and a member of Phi Beta Kappa while earning his undergraduate degree at Ohio State University. While at Ohio State University Law School he was Order of the Coif. His distinguished career included serving as United States Administrative Law Judge, Office of Hearings and Appeals, from 1972 to 1979, and directing the A.B. Gertner Bar Review School from 1936 to 1961. He also was national President of Tau Epsilon Law Fraternity in 1962 and member of the Board of Governors of the Columbus Bar Association.

Michael H. Gertner is a trial attorney dedicated to the aggressive but thoughtful representation of his clients.
