Millisor & Nobil,
A Legal Professional Association practices in the following areas of law:

Employment Law including Labor Relations, Equal Employment Opportunity, Public Sector, OSHA, Arbitration Law, Litigation, Workers Compensation Law, Human Resources Consulting and Employee Benefit Law.
Year Established: 1975
Firm Profile:
From its offices in Cleveland, Canton and Columbus, Millisor & Nobil advises and represents management nationally in labor and employment-related matters. Since the formation, in 1975, the firm has continued to grow in size and in client base. Our clients represent a cross-section of business, industry and associations.

The philosophy at Millisor & Nobil is that employers are better served by placing a greater emphasis on the prevention or minimization of problems before they occur. Our practice covers the entire spectrum of employment law - negotiating collective bargaining agreements, defending employers in grievance, arbitration and unfair labor practice hearings, developing union prevention strategies and countering union organizing campaigns and developing strike preparation plans. Millisor & Nobil manages plant relocations, union decertifications and deauthorizations and the often thorny successorship situations so critical to business acquisitions. We regularly appear before the National Labor Relations Board and the State Employment Relations Board.

Our employment law practice includes advice and counseling in such areas as occupational safety and health, prevailing wage, labor cost reduction analysis, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, affirmative action and employment benefit plans, including health care cost containment.

Consistent success in defending employment-related lawsuits has distinguished Millisor & Nobil's litigation department since the firm's inception. While favorable results are the first priority in any litigation, achieving those results efficiently is essential. Our objective is to resolve all litigation to the client's satisfaction for the lowest total cost. Our lawyers rapidly identify issues and plot case strategy because they do not have to reinvent the wheel in each new lawsuit.

Our philosophy of anticipating and preventing problems before a crisis develops led us to create our human resource management department to assist employers in managing their most critical asset - their employees. This department provides expertise and experience in developing solutions to our clients in the areas of candidate assessment and selection, employee communications as well as practical guidance in the development of policies, procedures and handbooks.

Millisor & Nobil is deeply committed to preventive strategies geared to maintaining positive employee relations and avoiding litigation. The professionals at Millisor & Nobil approach legal issues with special knowledge of client operations and priorities acquired through long-term relationships.
