Thomas McNamara has been practicing in Onslow, Duplin and Jones County since 1993. He is recognized by the North Carolina State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. He received his initial certification in 2001 and was recertified in 2007. He attended the United States Naval Academy graduating in 1977 and then served approximately 12 years on active duty as an infantry officer in the U.S Marine Corps. He attended Law School at Campbell University in North Carolina and graduated in 1993. Concurrent with his law practice, he continued serving another 13 years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve until his retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in December 2002.
