Bruinooge & Associates' principal attorney, Thomas H. Bruinooge has been, since 1968, active in the legal, business and civic arenas in Northern New Jersey and, in particular, the region surrounding the New Jersey Meadowlands. The firm has successfully represented individual and corporate clients in a full spectrum of real estate transactions and applications and, when necessary or appropriate, has litigated on behalf of its clients in all of the New Jersey state courts, the U.S. District Court of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Most recently, the firm has acted as counsel to the developers and redevelopers of several major real estate projects in northern New Jersey. Among these projects are the redevelopment of a former 75-acre Superfund site as a mixed use development; the redevelopment of a 30 acre Brownfields site to accommodate 1 million square feet of office space, a major hotel and related uses; and the development of several hundred housing units, on a 7 acre former Brownfields site.

Decades of work with the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (formerly the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission), the U.S.E.P.A., the U.S.A.C.E and the N.J.D.E.P., along with appearances before numerous local and county agencies, have provided the firm with a level of experience yielding an insightful approach to resolving clients' issues on a positive, value added basis.
