Michelle J. Oldham (Associate) born Superior, Nebraska; admitted to bar, 1987, Nebraska and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska. Education: University of Nebraska-Lincoln (B.S., Political Science and English, 1984; J.D., 1987). Michelle grew up in Hastings, Nebraska, and graduated from Hastings St. Cecilia High School. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's Degree in both Political Science and English as well as a minor in Psychology in 1984. Michelle then received her law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1987. She was admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska in 1987. After graduation, she practiced for four years in a private law firm in McCook, Nebraska. In 1991, she joined the Hall County Attorney's Office, where she worked until joining the firm in October, 2008. Michelle's areas of practice include civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, juvenile law, guardianships/conservatorships, adoptions and landlord/tenant law. She is a member of the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association and the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. Michelle is also a member of the Adams County Bar Association. Matthew D. Baack (Associate) born Grand Island, Nebraska; admitted to bar, 2008, Nebraska and Ohio. Education: University of Nebraska-Lincoln in (B.S.B.A, 2003); University of Nebraska College of Law (J.D., 2007). Matt was born in Grand Island, Nebraska and grew up in Holdrege, Nebraska. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2003. Matt then earned his law degree with a certificate in Business Transactions, from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2007. After law school, Matt clerked both in private practice and for the University of Nebraska Foundation. Matt joined the firm in 2008 and is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Nebraska.
