Christian Faiella (Member) born Kittery, Maine, November 27, 1967; admitted to bar, 1995, Missouri; U.S. District Court, Western and Eastern Districts Court of Missouri; U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit; U.S. Supreme Court. Education: State University of New York (B.A., Political Science, 1989); University of Missouri (J.D., 1995). Mr. Faiella is a partner in the law firm of Tatlow, Gump & Faiella. The firm represents injured people in negligence and insurance matters in Missouri and surrounding states. Mr. Faiella's practice focuses on cases involving injuries and insurance coverage including automobile and truck accidents, insurance coverage litigation, agent negligence, bad faith cases and other complex injury cases. He is a member of the board of the Missouri Trial Lawyer's Association (MATA), an advocate and sustaining member of the American Association of Justice (AJA). He has lectured and written for The Missouri Bar, MATA, University of Missouri and UMKC on various topics including insurance, depositions, experts, trial practice and ethics. He is the author of The Missouri Bar CLE Black Book Chapters on Automobile Torts, Competency of Witnesses, and has published numerous articles on trial practice. Mr. Faiella earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science in 1989, and his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1995. During law school he served as a research assistant to Professor Robert Lawless and received the American Jurisprudence Award for torts and the Federal Court's Award both for the highest grades in his class. Mr. Faiella achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell. He was also recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly Newspaper as 1 of 5 attorneys in the publications 2001 "Up and Coming Lawyers" feature. Mr. Faiella was a member of The Missouri Bar's 2002 Leadership Academy.
