Tina grew up in southwest Missouri and attended Missouri State University for her Bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration. She moved to Kansas City to attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School and received her Juris Doctorate with an emphasis in Estate Planning in 2004 and her LL.M in Taxation in 2005.
Tina worked for a big four accounting firm, a midsized accounting firm and various law firms prior to opening her own law firm in 2008. She has worked in the tax field since 2000 and has assisted clients in preparing tax returns as well as representing them before the IRS in audits, appeals, innocent spouse claims, offers in compromise and installment agreements. Tina has also assisted clients in the preparation of wills, trusts, living wills, health care directives and power of attorneys.
Tina is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, American Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and Association of Women Lawyers.
Tina has been actively involved in the community and has volunteered for many organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Harvesters.
When she's not working, Tina enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan, her cat, Tia, and dogs, Maggie & Buster. Tina also enjoys attending Chiefs and Royals games as well as concerts. Tina is an avid traveler and has traveled to Ireland, Scotland, Europe and China.
