Luckett Tyner Law Firm's roots in Mississippi date back to 1952 when William O. Luckett, Sr., joined Brewer & Brewer, one of the area's most established and well-regarded legal firms. Brewer & Brewer was founded by Earl Brewer, former governor of Mississippi. In 1956, the firm's name was changed to Brewer, Brewer & Luckett. Then, as today, the practice concentrated on civil litigation.William O. Luckett, Jr., joined the practice in 1973. The firm took on the name Luckett Law Firm a decade later. Robert M. Tyner Jr. started working at the firm in 1988 when he was in high school. Rob also clerked for the firm during law school. Rob joined the practice in 1998 and in 2001 the firm took its present name.The firm has been at its present location on Yazoo Avenue in Clarksdale since its inception, with several phases of expansion having been completed since 1976.Today Luckett Tyner Law Firm represents clients of all types in a wide array of legal matters.
