| Jonathan A. Dyrud practices in the following areas of law:
Estate Planning: Living Trusts, Avoiding Probate, Life Estates; Probate: Decedent's Estate Administration, Trust Administration, Elder Law: Estate Planning for the Elderly, Protecting Assets in Nursing Home Situations, Spendown Planning for Medicaid/Medical Assistance, Powers of Attorneys, Living Wills, Health Care Directives. | | Year Established: 1990 | Firm Profile:
My law practice is limited to assisting in the convenient and economical transfer of assets to the next generation. First, by avoiding probate where possible by re-titling of assets and by drafting and administering trusts. Secondly, where such re-titling and trusts are not the answer, by preparing wills or trustwills and providing economical probate estate administration. Thirdly, where assets are very limited, by advising with regard to repositioning assets within the family to protect them (as provided by law) in the event a nursing home stay becomes unavoidable. Plans which involve real estate are handled routinely, as prior to limiting my practice to estate, elder law and probate, I was a Real Estate Specialist, certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Plans include powers of attorney, health care directives and Medical Assistance Planning, as appropriate. | | Firm Size: 1 | Office Hours:
