| Unger Law Office practices in the following areas of law:
Personal Injury, Automobile Accidents, Medical Malpractice, Head and Spinal Injuries, Wrongful Death, Construction Accidents, Railroad Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents, Trucking Accidents, Slip and Fall, FELA. | Firm Profile:
Having practiced in the personal injury and union side labor law areas at law firms of varying sizes, large and small, Mr. Unger decided in 2005 to create his own solo practice law firm to permit him to focus on this work and to assure the highest possible service and accountability to his clients without risk of conflicts with other lawyers' practices or clients. His clients usually come to him through referral from his past clients, other lawyers, or union leaders. His firm includes a full time investigator with experience in railroad, automobile and motorcycle accident cases. He has been repeatedly recognized for his excellence in representing injury victims or obtaining multi-million dollar recoveries: examples include that he has been named to the "Top 40" list for four years running by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, and he is one of only three plaintiff lawyers in Minnesota to be selected twice as Attorney of the Year by the Minnesota Lawyer ( the only weekly newspaper to cover Minnesota' legal community and news). As one who was able to pay for his own college education as a union laborer working at union scale, he has also been selected to represent numerous unions. His past and current union clients have included local and international unions such as the United Transportation Union, TCU, IAM,GCIU, and others. He has been appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court both to serve on an advisory committee on the rules governing civil court procedures and as a member of the Board charged with overview of lawyer ethics. In the past, he has been appointed by Minnesota federal judges to assist with selection of federal Magistrate Judges who oversee pretrial management of cases and settlement proceedings in Federal court. He has tried numerous jury cases, enough to obtain and hold Certification as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar since 1995. | | Firm Size: 1 | Rate Information:
