    Representative Matters

Our firm represented Bank of America in a putative class action and an individual action pending in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit alleging violations of Maryland's secondary mortgage loan law. Plaintiffs contended that Bank of America was the assignee to hundreds of second mortgage loans in which the originators (not Bank of America) charged the Plaintiffs and class members unlawful fees and charges at loan closing.
