(Main Office) Cohen, Snyder, Eisenberg & Katzenberg, P.A. began in the early 1960's as a general practice with a concentration in criminal defense by Stanley Cohen. Unfortunately, Stanley Cohen became ill, and in order to continue his practice, his father, Gee M. Cohen, went to law school at the age of 60, passed the Maryland State Bar exam, and began practicing law, continuing the Firm for the benefit of Stanley Cohen and his family. During the late 1970's, Mark Snyder and Bruce Eisenberg joined the Firm of Stanley S. Cohen, P.A. in 1981, Alex Katzenberg joined the Firm, not long before Stanley Cohen passed away in December of that year. At that time the Firm changed its name and continued the practice of law that had been started by Stanley Cohen many years before. In 1986, Gee M. Cohen passed away, and the Firm has continued in the general practice of law with a concentration in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, District Court Criminal Matters, Consumer Bankruptcy and Domestic Relations. The Firm presently has seven attorneys practicing law throughout the State of Maryland. The Firm's attorneys travel on a daily basis throughout the Baltimore area and the various jurisdictions in Maryland to the Circuit Courts, District Courts and Workers' Compensation Commission's regional hearing sites. The Firm's policy has always included free telephone consultation on legal matters. If the area of law is one in which the Firm does not practice, the attorneys will attempt to provide useful information to callers and provide them a resource to help them with their legal problems.
