Adam S. Taylor, Esq. (Founding Member) born Boston, Massachusetts, June 23, 1975; admitted to bar, 2000, Maine. Education: Cornell University (1992); University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia, 1995); Bowdoin College (B.A., magna cum laude, 1997); University of Richmond School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2000). Mr. Taylor, a founding member of Taylor, McCormack & Frame, LLC, practices in a variety of areas and assists businesses state-wide. Mr. Taylor advises and represents employers in all areas of labor and employment and corporate law. He has successfully defended businesses, large and small, in both state and federal courts and frequently appears before federal and state administrative agencies. Serving as corporate counsel to dozens of businesses, Mr. Taylor has facilitated successful start-ups, mergers and corporate acquisitions. Mr. Taylor also has an active practice in the area of labor relations under the National Labor Relations Act, representing management before the National Labor Relations Board and throughout the country. He counsels employers on remaining union-free and represents employers in all aspects of unfair labor practice proceedings. He also represents management at the bargaining table in labor contract negotiations and arbitrations. Mr. Taylor works closely with all levels of management on cost containment and legal compliance through proactive human resource policy administration and risk management. He has represented employers in a wide variety of industries, including the construction, paper, retail, food service, health care and direct marketing industries. He serves as counsel to the Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine and is a member of the American Bar Association. While serving as an editor on the University of Richmond Law Review. Mr. Taylor lives in Falmouth, Maine with his wife and two children. He enjoys the Maine coast with his family, boating, fly-fishing, and golfing. James "Allie" McCormack (Partner) born Stoneham, Massachusetts, April 14, 1954; admitted to bar, 1986, Maine; 1988, Massachusetts. Education: Harvard University (B.A., 1979); University of Maine School of Law (J.D., 1986). James "Allie" McCormack is a founding member of Taylor, McCormack & Frame where he focuses his practice on representing management in the area of labor and employment law. Since 1986, Allie has provided advice and counsel to employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including risk reduction strategies involving employee relations, employment policies, and employment related litigation. He has successfully represented employers before state and federal agencies, including OSHA, the Maine Human Rights Commission, the Maine Workers Compensation Board, the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Maine Unemployment Commission. Allie has also represented employers in arbitration proceedings involving disputes relating to collective bargaining agreements. In addition, Allie has represented clients in litigation in both state and federal courts, including numerous appeals to the Maine Law Court. He has been involved as the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) since 1997 as a guardian ad item in child protection proceedings. After teaching in the security treatment unit at the Maine Youth Center in South Portland for five years, he attended law school.

Gregg R. Kim Anderson True (Associate) born Warwick, Rhode Island, August 17, 1955; admitted to bar, 1983, Maine and U.S. District Court, District of Maine. Education: Mount Holyoke College (B.A., 1977); University of Maine (J.D., 1983). Kim Anderson True has 15 years of experience representing clients before the Maine Human Rights Commission and in state and federal courts, counseling clients on best practices for developing, motivating and retaining key employees and in minimizing risks through use of employee handbooks and policies. She served as Senior Employee Relations Consultant in a Fortune 500 company, where she advised and trained middle and senior level managers on employment related matters, drafted and interpreted employee policies, investigated and made recommendations on employee complaints, and addressed performance management and harassment issues. Kim also has extensive litigation experience handling insurance defense matters in state and federal courts. Kim graduated from Mount Holyoke College, with a BA in Psychology, and from the University of Maine School of Law, where she was winner of the First year Writing Prize and a member of Maine Law Review. Kim successfully completed the Institute for Civic Leadership's collaborative leadership program as a member of the Eta class and has participated in several Outward Bound programs. André Duchette (Associate) born 1977; admitted to bar, 2005, Maine; 2006, U.S. District Court, District of Maine. Education: Middlebury College (B.A., Psychology, 2001); University of Maine School of Law (J.D., 2005). André G. Duchette concentrates his practice in the areas of residential and commercial transactions, business law, landlord / tenant disputes, wills, trusts and probate matters, and civil litigation. Before joining Taylor, McCormack & Frame, LLC, Mr. Duchette worked for a law firm in Lewiston, Maine, where he successfully represented commercial landlords in a variety of matters, handled both simple and complex probate matters including will contests, and handled a variety of collection matters for various companies. He served as President of the Student Bar Association at University of Maine School of Law. Before law school, Mr. Duchette worked as a crisis counselor in Portland, Maine and worked extensively with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. Kathryn K. Rowen (Associate) born Whidbey Island, Washington January 27, 1979; admitted to bar, 2005, Maine and Connecticut; U.S. District Court, District of Maine. Education: Colby College (B.A., 2001); Vermont Law School (J.D., 2005). Katie Rowen's practice focuses on civil litigation, business and employment law, administrative law and family law. Katie was a civil litigator with another firm in Portland prior to joining Taylor, McCormack & Frame, practicing primarily in the area of insurance defense. She has counseled major corporations in products liability and wrongful death actions and advised numerous individuals and companies in premises liability actions. Katie's general litigation practice casts a wide net and includes copyright, personal injury and family law matters. Katie also has a thriving administrative law practice, representing various professionals before Maine state licensing boards. James A. Clifford (Counsel) born Maine, July 6, 1968; admitted to bar, 1997, Maine and Massachusetts; 1998, U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit. Education: Colby College (B.A., 1990); Suffolk University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1997). James Clifford focuses his practice on business and employment law, civil litigation, regulatory/administrative law, and criminal defense. Mr. Clifford began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Massachusetts, then became a commercial litigation associate at large law firms in Portland and Boston. Thereafter, he served as general counsel to several start ups and small businesses, in one of which he became a principal. These experiences as both principal and agent, afford Mr. Clifford a different perspective through which to counsel and advocate for his clients. Mr. Clifford grew up in Lewiston and comes from a long line of lawyers and public servants. He was awarded the Drinan Fellowship in Criminal Law at Suffolk University Law School. Prior to earning his J.D., Mr. Clifford taught school and worked with young adults with developmental disabilities.
