The firm which is today known as Mills & Mills traces its roots to 1904 when Sumner P. Mills opened his first office in Stonington, Maine. In 1911 he established the firm now known as Mills and Mills at Farmington where he was joined in 1940 by his son Peter Mills. Paul H. Mills joined the firm in 1977, the third generation of Mills to practice and provide the highest quality legal services to their clients throughout Maine.
