Hired Attorney

Stay far away from her. She has all the bad qualities that everyone hates about lawyers. I told her I did not want to spend money unless I had to in a case because I knew it would work itself out. She proceeded to email me constantly to bill. She refused to return my retainer for over a year. Charged me $650 in hourly wages just to get retainer returned.

Hired Attorney

What a rip off.She takes your $ 5,000 retainer fee and does very little. She takes days and sometimes weeks to respond to your phone calls. That is if you can even get into her voicemail. I tried to call her for three days and her voicemail was full. We never filed anything in court and she never sent me any forms to fill out like she told me. She has plenty of excuses. When I asked for my retainer fee back she informed me very little was left after all her services. What services?

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
