Shawn Jurgensen (Member) admitted to bar, 2008, Kansas. Education: Missouri State University (B.A., History, 2004); Washburn University School of Law (J.D., 2008). Jennifer Zook (Member) admitted to bar, 2008, Kansas. Education: Arizona State University (B.A., Psychology, 2004); Washburn University School of Law (J.D., with dean's honors, 2008). Ms. Zook worked as a law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge K. Gary Sebelius before moving to the Kansas Attorney Generals' office. She was a licensed legal intern for the Washburn Law Clinic. Ms. Zook provided essential legal research for Professor William Merkel. Prior to entering law school she was employed by the Phoenix, Arizona law firm of Nick Rayes where she operated as a bankruptcy paralegal. Ms. Zook enjoyed a two-year membership on the Washburn Law School Moot Court Council, her final year as Secretary. She was a junior student editor for the American Bar Association's Family Law Quarterly. During her third year of law school Ms. Zook was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Barristers.
