Ms. Zook worked as a law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge K. Gary Sebelius before moving to the Kansas Attorney Generals' office. She was a licensed legal intern for the Washburn Law Clinic. Ms. Zook provided essential legal research for Professor William Merkel. Prior to entering law school she was employed by the Phoenix, Arizona law firm of Nick Rayes where she operated as a bankruptcy paralegal. Ms. Zook enjoyed a two-year membership on the Washburn Law School Moot Court Council, her final year as Secretary.
