Hired Law Firm

I contracted Linda Hoak for a property dispute and paid her a retainer for services. Ms. Hoak took my money then failed to provide services. She has disappeared. From what I see online, there are many people who are trying to find her for various reasons, none of them good. Ultimately filed a grievance with Texas State Bar. Disciplinary arm of the Bar has found her guilty of misconduct. Waiting to see when this goes to trial. DO NOT ENGAGE THIS ATTORNEY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Despicable

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
