Angel M. Traub (Member) born July 22, 1971; admitted to bar, 2001, Illinois and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Education: Northern Illinois University (B.A., summa cum laude, honors, 1998); John Marshall Law School (J.D., cum laude, Distinguished Scholar, 2001). Outstanding Woman Student Award and Outstanding Communication Major Award in 1998. She was selected as a John Marshall Distinguished Scholar, and was a member of the Order of John Marshall, Honorary Scholarship Society. She served as a member of The John Marshall Law Review. In the Fall of 2000 she was published in The John Marshall Law Review, article titled The Wall is Down, Now We Build More: The Exclusionary Effects of Gated Communities Demand Stricter Burdens Under the FHA. She participated in the National Mock Trial Competition (NTC) in 2001, and is a regional winner of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) Trial Advocacy Competition in 2000. She also served as an intern for Honorable Ronald Guzman, Federal District Court, Northern District of Illinois in 2000. She has been qualified to serve on the DCFS Attorney Adoption Panel, including International Adoption. She is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association serving as chair of Membership and Judge's Night Committee and member of the family Law, Diversity, Membership, Entertainment, Judiciary and Lawyer Referral Services Committees. She is a committed participant in the DCBA's annual Judge's Night production. She is also a member of The John Marshall Law School Alumni Committee and Mentor Program.
