Stephen M. Brandenburg (Associate) admitted to bar, 2007, Illinois; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Education: Indiana University (B.A., 2004); Indiana University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2007). Prior to joining the Law Offices of Ruth I. Major, Mr. Brandenburg was the law clerk for Judge Lee Preston, Supervising Judge of the Commercial Calendar in the Circuit Court of Cook County. In this position, Mr. Brandenburg was intimately involved in evaluating and analyzing legal arguments for civil matters. Mr. Brandenburg graduated from Indiana University - Indianapolis in 2004 with a B.A. in economics and political science, and obtained his J.D. cum laude from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Brandenburg received significant experience litigating on behalf of indigent clients through an internship with Indiana Legal Services, Inc. Mr. Brandenburg also spent time working as a law clerk for Clark, Quinn, Moses, Scott & Grahn, LLP in Indianapolis.
