The majority of her 30 year career has been devoted to negotiating settlements, litigating cases at the trial level and preparing pre and post-nuptial agreements. She has extensive experience with valuations, tax matters and mental health experts. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and was an Adjunct Professor of Matrimonial Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law. She has instructed attorneys in negotiation and mediation for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). She was formerly a Partner at Schiller, DuCanto & Fleck and at Beermann Swerdlove LLC. She frequently lectured and published for the ISBA, IICLE and other legal associations on the topics of effective litigation techniques and cross-examination strategies, discovery, finding hidden assets, removal and winning child custody, support and maintenance cases.
