Laurence J. Bolon spent eight years in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office spending over four years in their felony trial division. He was a supervisor of the felony trial division and then spent over 2 and half years as Chief of the Criminal Appeals Division. Thereafter, entering into private practice, he expanded into civil litigation with an emphasis on trial work in both the civil and criminal law. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts. He has authored thirteen professional works, taught appellate advocacy and lectured for continuing legal education programs and law schools on trial matters. He is a past Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Chicago Bar Association Civil Practice Committee and Chairman of the continuing Legal Education Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. He is highly qualified attorney who has been selected as a Super Lawyer for Chicago Magazine for 2007, 2008 and 2009 in family law matters and he is AV rated (the highest rating) by Martindale-Hubbell. He employs one lawyer and two paralegals.
