Eugene A. Cox established the firm following his admission to practice law in the state of Idaho on October 7, 1902. He was joined by Noel B. Martin in 1921, then by Marcus J. Ware in 1927. Marcus Ware practiced law with the firm from 1927 until his retirement sixty years later in 1987. Daniel O'Connell was admitted to practice law in 1953 and developed a highly respected insurance defense and business law practice prior to his death in 1988. In 1985, Theodore O. Creason became a partner and the firm name was changed to Ware, O'Connell & Creason. In 1992, the firm became Creason, Moore & Dokken following the admission of Christopher J. Moore and David E.
