Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Jason Smith helped our family through the worst time of our lives. He was caring and compassionate, and his services restored our lives when we had little hope. Greatly appreciated!
Mr. Smith did an outstanding job restoring me and my children's lives! He showed compassion unusual with attorneys. I can't say enough.
Jason has class and wit in the courtroom. He asks the questions that wins the case without all the childish tactics practiced by other attorneys. I highly recommend Jason above any other attorneys that I have seen in Coweta County, and I have seen a lot of them. He has a reasonable fee and will let you know when something new has developed on your case.
I have used Mr. Smith 3 times now and he just won my last case, when other lawyers said it couldn't be done. If you want a lawyer that will tell you the truth about your case and not just what you want to hear, Call Mr. Smith. Will not allow other lawyers to push him around or scare him into settling.
Jason Smith is a great lawyer and a great value for the money. His team is quick to respond and very knowledgeable on all operations regarding my case. I have used Mr. Smith twice now and have been pleased with both of my case outcomes. His ability to put my mind at ease was wonderful and Lisa (his paralegal) was just as calming. I highly recommend Jason Smith as a Family Law attorney and couldn't think of anyone else I would rather have represent me in court. Thank you Jason and Lisa!!
he was always a very busy man. never could talk to him always had to talk to his aides. never met the man before we went to mediation
Not sure how lawyers.com can be made to read nothing but glowing testimonials for Jason Smith, and his partner in crime Aubrey. We used him for a simple uncontested divorce. No one was fighting, and the only problem we had was an attorney, who was intent on transferring money from our pocket to his. When you check around you'll find that he doesn't put his real address here, or in Florida where he really practices. When you use him you'll be so disappointed you'll be on the phone to the Georgia Bar and left wondering why someone that practices LAW in such a dishonest fashion can still be allowed to prey on the public the way he does. Little of what they communicate to you is true. Jason Smith (and Aubrey) blame delays on Coweta County, and then when you talk to the county, they say he's a scoundrel and is lying to you about what he has filled. Of course he won't answer the phone or give you any real status on your case. Our completely uncontested divorce took 9 months.
When seeing ratings of attorneys in a divorce, you can't easily tell whether the attorney is the problem, or maybe some reviewer just did not get the outcome they were hoping for. In the case of Jason Smith, and his Southern Piedmont Law, the problem you'll have IS THE ATTORNEY. We had a completely uncontested divorce, already crafted by a previous attorney, that he took six months to even file. Smith just sat on it trying to cause trouble between the parties. There were months more of waiting until we finally got another attorney. Of course he didn't refund anything. I never heard my attorney's actual voice on the phone once btw. It was 100% email only, letting months go by without an honest communication. Aubrey is his partner there and gives you that initial hug. Tells you they can do everything you want quickly. You sign the Retainer and they then disappear. Emailed us falsely for months that we were waiting on the judge... and Smith had never even filed our case with the clerk.
When seeing ratings of attorneys in a divorce, you can't really tell whether it's the attorney or the unsatisfied party that's complaining. In the case of Jason Smith attorney, the problem you'll have IS THE ATTORNEY. Run away. We had a completely uncontested divorce put together that he took six months to even file. The attorney just sat on it trying to cause trouble between the parties. I never heard this attorney's voice on the phone once. It was 100% email communication only, letting weeks and months go by without a word. Aubrey is his partner there doing the front end work, telling you everything you want to hear. Then when you sign the retainer they disappear. Smith told us falsly for months that we were waiting on the judge, and as it turns out Smith had not even filed our case for the judge to review. We finally hired another lawyer and got it all finished in a matter of days.
Filed dispute November 2021 Have not heard. No response to any messages left with office workers. They keep pushing it off and no one cas contacted me in 3 months about the case. A big wast of time and resources. This is an ongoing custody battle and my case has nothing to show for the 2 grand and 3 months of just filing paperwork.
