(Main Office) Sell & Melton, L.L.P. was formed in 1980 from the merger of the firms of Sell, Comer & Popper, whose lineage dates to the early 1930's, and McKenna, House, Lancaster & Green, whose beginnings were in the 1950's. Buckner F. Melton, the senior partner in the McKenna firm immediately prior to his election as Mayor of the City of Macon in 1976, joined the combined firm in 1980.
