Bad Faith and Coverage Litigation: Matthew has prosecuted declaratory judgment actions on behalf of insurance carriers in state and federal courts. In addition, he has defended insurance carriers in bad faith and declaratory judgment actions filed by insureds. He is also experienced in pursuing interpleader actions and other equitable remedies on behalf of insurers. Legal Malpractice and Professional Negligence: Matthew's experience in legal malpractice and professional negligence fields includes the defense of lawyers, physicians, real estate appraisers and other professionals. In defending legal malpractice cases, Matthew has been exposed to litigation in real estate commercial transactions, products liability, wills and estates, ERISA, and personal injury cases.
