Gregory W. Kehoe, the U.S. lawyer who advised the Iraqi Special Tribunal formed to prosecute Saddam Hussein and members of his former regime, is a Shareholder in Greenberg Traurig's Tampa office and a member of the firm's global litigation group.

In 1982, Mr. Kehoe joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a prosecutor in the Southern District of Florida. While serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, he was responsible for successfully prosecuting a number of high profile cases, including members of the Outlaws motorcycle gang.

Mr. Kehoe currently represents Croatian General Ante Gotovina, who was indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for leading a military operation in 1995 known as "Operation Storm." The trial, which is expected to last one year, commenced on March 11, 2008 at The Hague, Netherlands.

· Outside general counsel to a major closely held Florida real estate developer with approximately 11,000 residential single and multi-family units in Florida. Successfully represented the developer in tax refund litigation against the United States wherein the Internal Revenue Service attempted to collapse the income stream from 100 year land leases and tax it all in the year of sale of the housing units; multi-million dollar recovery obtained.

· Represented and advised the New York State Metropolitan Transit Authority and its agencies, Metro North Commuter Railroad, the Long Island Rail Road Company, New York City Transit Authority and Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority in claims against insurance carriers for property damage and economic loss claims resulting from the September 11, 2001 ("9/11") attack on New York City.

· Represented the New York State Metropolitan Transit Authority and its agencies, Metro North Commuter Railroad, the Long Island Rail Road Company, New York City Transit Authority and Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority in litigation against multiple insurance carriers for property damage resulting from the Blizzard of 1996 and economic loss claims arising therefrom; multi-million dollar recovery obtained.
