* James Quinlivan Baker (Attorney) born Pensacola, Florida, June 18, 1967; admitted to bar, 1993, Florida; 1994, Alabama. Education: Florida State University (B.S., 1989); Mississippi College School of Law (J.D., 1993). James Quin Baker graduated from Florida State University in 1991 with a degree in Finance and from Mississippi College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, he was a State of Florida prosecuting trial attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida. He joined the firm in 1996 to concentrate his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, consumer insurance disputes and social security disability claims. He has over 16 years of extensive trial experience in the State and Federal Courts of Florida and Alabama. James Quin Baker also has extensive experience advocating in administrative proceedings for Social Security Disability claimants who have initially been denied benefits. He is a member of both the Florida Bar Association and Alabama Bar Association. He is a past President of the First Circuit Trial Lawyers Association currently known as the First Circuit Justice Association. He is an active Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association and American Association for Justice. * William C. Baker, Jr. (Managing Partner) born Mobile, Alabama, September 15, 1959; admitted to bar, 1984, Florida. Education: Florida State University (B.S., 1981); Stetson University College of Law (J.D., 1983). Attorney has achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell with a Preeminent Rated Law Firm. In 1984, William C. Baker, Jr. began his career with the Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm of Levin, Middlebrooks, Mabie in Pensacola. After quickly gaining significant trial experience, he formed his own law firm in 1986 to focus on select personal injury and medical malpractice cases involving serious injury or death. In 1989 at the age of 29 years, he became one of the youngest lawyers in the country to achieve a jury verdict in excess of $1 million. Mr. Baker is a member of The Florida Bar, The American Association for Justice and a long standing Eagle member of The Florida Justice Association.
