| Additional Bio Details | Edgar Belaval, Jr. is a civil trial attorney with extensive jury trial experience in commercial, construction, maritime, probate and liability litigation. Additionally, Mr. Belaval has tried cases before the Division of Administrative Hearings, the Miami Dade County Building and Zoning Board, the Monroe County Building and Zoning Board, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and has presented cases before the Third District Court of Appeals. Mr. Belaval is fluent in Spanish and has negotiated on behalf of several clients throughout Latin America and Europe.
Edgar was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on May 20, 1971. He graduated from Florida State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science having majored in economics. While at Florida State University, Mr. Belaval was a member of the Vice President's Council on Expenditures, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a wide receiver on the 1993 National Championship Football Team.Prior to attending law school he worked for the lobbying firm of Blank, Rigsby & Meenan in Tallahassee, Florida. He attended The University of Bridgeport Quinnipiac School of Law from which he received his juris doctor degree in 1998.
Mr. Belaval has extensive trial experience throughout the state of Florida, as well as the federal courts, and has successfully argued several cases before the Third District Court of Appeals.
