I filed a Fl Bar Grievance and then sued Shafer mediation and he refunded a portion of fee. I hired him while he was going through his own matrimonial problems but failed to disclose. I too had serious legal problems too. Alls well that ends well. He is a fighter!

Terrible. Knew this guy from when I was a kid and through my family. I didn’t get divorced. Thinks he’s a hot shot legal genius or acts like it but did a horrible job as a lawyer and a person. Yelled at me on the phone. I had a civil matter supposed to be heard in 15 days that didn’t get heard for like 4 months due to neglect of the case. And they blamed it on me. All while saying it’s very complicated legal maneuvering when it was just bs. And still in all that time they didn’t do any work so I fired him and found another attorney on my own. It was resolved almost immediately after. Garbage.
