Firm Profile:
When a business owner decides what law firm to use they usually consider a firm's prices, lawyers, and the quality of their work. Rabouin and Zeman offers fair prices, great lawyers and excellent legal work. We understand that the character of a local firm is often additionally measured by its chemistry with the people it serves. We look great from this vantage point too.

We work for some of the most independent, resourceful and no-nonsense business people around. So in every matter we handle, we engage the issues head-on, focusing on results. In the Southwest, innovation and independence is key. We bring fresh thinking to common legal problems and uncommon clarity to complicated business issues.

Our origins began in a corporate and real estate practice in Denver in 2001. We moved our practice to Durango in 2008 because we love it here. We are a full service firm, emphasizing the following areas: corporate and business law, contract review and drafting, intellectual property, copyright and trademark, administrative law, computer law, franchising, acquisitions, joint ventures and real estate. We also provide appellate representation in state and federal courts.

We especially care about our community. We give back. For example, we serve as LOCAL Durango's general counsel, providing them pro bono legal advice. We also provide legal services to other non profit organizations such as the Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado and to local business women through the Women's Resource Center.

Our values match those of our community. Our values, such as independence, innovation, resourcefulness and integrity, draw us together. We truly enjoy getting to know each business owner that chooses our firm. We look forward to getting to know you too.

Clients include: corporations, limited liability companies, manufacturers, constructions companies, partnerships, real estate developers and trusts, retail stores, restaurants, health practitioners, marketing companies, web managers and creators, computer and internet companies and non profit organizations. Our client list is available at our office.

Diversity Commitment

At Rabouin Zeman Group, we are all individuals: no two of us are the same - we all have unique requirements, abilities and motivations. Yet here our people reflect the diversity of our communities and our global marketplace. Our efforts to understand, value and incorporate differences are at the heart of our culture.

By ensuring everyone lives within our values and treats each other with respect, we have created a truly inclusive culture.

Supporting equality and diversity means valuing the differences our people bring to the law firm - regardless of gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, veteran status, age or gender reassignment - so that everyone is valued for their contribution. We extend the same respect and awe for each and every one of our clients.

You see, at RZ Group everything matters.

Diversity Initiative Commitment

At Rabouin Zeman Group, diversity is a core value and is fundamental to our success. As a key component of our client commitment, diversity enables us to acquire the best talent and create effective teams. Diversity also makes good business sense because with it, we are able to leverage different perspectives and experiences to tackle complex legal problems in a way that gives our clients strategic advantage. We also believe that championing diversity is simply the right thing to do.

With diversity being a key element of the firm's strategic plan, we have created a diversity initiative headed by our managing members and supported by partners from each major law firm office we have strategic alliance with, as well as in our hiring chairs, review and compensation, and professional development efforts. The goal of the diversity initiative is to improve diversity within the firm and make RZ Group a model for other larger law firms. The strategic objectives center around recruitment, retention and promotion.
