From 1975 - 1980 John E. ("Jack") Fitzgibbons served as an active duty military attorney with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps overseas as a Post Judge Advocate and in the US as Chief of Military Justice for a major installation. Since 1980 he has practiced bankruptcy law and litigation on behalf of individuals, bankruptcy trustees and creditors; liquidated as a Chapter 7 Panel Bankruptcy Trustee, The Stuart James Company, Inc. a multimillion dollar nationwide stock brokerage and returned 50 cents on the dollar to claimants; also as a bankruptcy trustee marshaled and liquidated numerous other asset cases including, undertakers, pawn shops, restaurants; served as a reserve military attorney advising commanders and individuals in many areas of military law; counseled and represented individuals involved in family law disputed matters, division of retirement pay and businesses; efficient representation in civil and criminal litigation including personal injury, traffic violations, DUIs, DWIs; personalized attention to each client and the stressful situation surrounding legal matters and disputes.
